Evening activities are available on several evenings throughout the week to provide social opportunities for adult service users to meet up with friends. 

These activities include Gateway Club, Drama, and Discos.

Gateway Club

This is a national Mencap initiative which has been running for over 50 years across the country. Members gather on Tuesday evenings and can choose from a wide range of activities each week.

Example activities include:

• A barbecue in our sensory garden
• Film nights with popcorn
• Themed nights
• Outside speakers, such as a police dog handler who showed service users how the dogs are trained to work
• Seasonal craft activities
• Quiz nights

Gateway is on Tuesdays  5.30 pm - 7.30 pm   £5 per session.

Performance Group

Individuals meet each Thursday evening to take part in a range of performances and creative activities.

The group enjoys singing, dancing, acting, and sing-along, with a wide range of genres of songs in the mix.
